Satellite Facilities

AUM Campus Recreation has several outdoor satellite facilities that it either manages or has access to during designated time periods. These include the 18 hole frisbee golf course, the sand volleyball court, the low ropes course, and the AUM tennis courts.

Students, faculty, staff, and alumni may use these facilities during designated times.

The AUM Frisbee Golf Course is an 18 hole course on the campus of AUM. The course is open to student, faculty, staff, and the public for usage. Organizations may rent the space to hold tournaments by contacting the university.

The AUM Tennis court is open to students, faculty, staff, and alumni and is used by the AUM Athletic department for their tennis program. Classes also use the facility. For more information about the tennis court or using the tennis court, please contact Athletics.

The AUM Low Ropes Challenge Course is open to students, faculty, staff, and community groups to use for team building activities. A $40.00 per hour fee applies for outside groups for a certified instructor. Certified instructors are required to use the course. For more information: contact the campus recreation office at 334-244-3933.

The AUM sand volleyball court is located next to the West Court Yards (University Housing). It is open to all students, faculty, staff, and alumni to use. Intramurals holds its annual Top Gun Classic Intramural Volleyball tournament at the court each summer. For more information about using the sand volleyball court contact AUM Housing and Residence Life and ask for Iyisha Hampton. You can contact her by e-mail at ihampton@aum.edu.
